Managing Ventilation Risk
Mine Ventilation Conference 2019
PERTH 26–28 AUGUST 2019
#minevent2019
About the conference
Gain access to the latest developments, challenges and achievements improving safety levels in underground mining at the Australian Mine Ventilation Conference in Perth this August.
Ventilation controls are now recognised as one of the core risk activities in mines requiring the appointment of statutory ventilation officers in both coal and metalliferous mining sectors. With re-emergence of pneumoconiosis in mine workers, it is important for all underground operations to contribute to this conference.
The conference program features 7 keynote speakers and 40 technical presentations examining metal and coal mine ventilation planning and design, mine fires and explosions, mine heat and refrigeration, case studies and more. There are also networking opportunities, workshops for additional professional development and a conference exhibition.
Well-attended by operators, planning personnel, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, government regulators, consultants and academia – we hope you can join us in Perth.
