National Engineering Laboratory for UHV Engineering Technology (Kunming) is an important establishment for research on UHV AC and UHV DC transmission and transformation technology at high altitude(2100m).
Based on the development background of China's AC-DC UHV power transmission and transformation project and supported by ±800Kv Yunnan-Guangdong HVDC Power Transmission Project, National Engineering Laboratory for UHV Engineering Technology (Kunming) is positioned as the national engineering laboratory serving ±800KV DC and 1000KV AC UHV power transmission and transformation technology. The laboratory can conduct the actual 2100m high altitude UHV external insulation test research, obtain the external insulation test data under the actual high altitude, and verify the simulated and speculated test conclusions under the low altitude, so as to provide technical support for solving the safe operation of UHV in the high altitude area. It is one of the special functions of the laboratory to have the actual test capacity of UHV at 2100m high altitude.
Q200 at National Engineering Laboratory for UHV Engineering Technology (Kunming)
SF6 insulated current transformer is widely used in 500Kv substations due to its advantages of strong insulation height, non-combustion and non-explosion, and less maintenance. Independent SF6 insulated transformer is also used in the field of ±800KV Yunnan-Guangdong DC transmission system.
Q200, Ultra High Sensitivity SF6 Trace Gas Leak Detector, as the quantitative leak detector, it is the main detection instrument of SF6 gas leakage of high-voltage switch, transformer and other SF6 equipment. Even at high altitudes, its performance is as reliable as ever.
